This job took a little muscle and a lot of patience. The homeowner asked us to dismantle an existing rock wall that was starting to fall apart. It was a simple wall of stacked rock without any mortar. Once removed, we were then tasked to rebuild it using the same rock material, but make it strong and lasting while maintaining that unique dry-stacked look. So we assembled the wall one rock at a time, all the while applying plenty of concrete to give it stability and permanence. But we were also careful to keep the front face of the wall free of cement to ensure it maintained that distinct look. Based on these photos, you can see it was well worth the effort!
